Yummy Starters at Deja Vu Resto Barĭeja Vu Resto Bar has 4-5 variety of starters, on that particular day there was Garlic Bred, Chilly Potato preparation, Paneer Tikka, Crispy Corn – a lot of people like this apparently. For us lunch was a formality as meeting each other was more important, we started with the buffet and here’s how it all started. The restaurant is spacious, so even if you are a large group, I don’t think seating will pose a problem if prior reservation is done. The restaurant has good interiors, thanks to the amazing paintings that bring the place to life. The restaurant cum bar is located at the top floor of the Gopalan Mall in BTM Layout ( opposite to Shopper’s Stop, Bannerghatta Road) Deja Vu Resto Bar, Bannerghatta Road, Bangaloreĭeja Vu serves buffet lunches and dinners and is the perfect place for corporate lunches, team lunches or even a casual lunch/dinner with family. Such long weekends are a much-needed break, It was during the start of this month that I got a long weekend and I decided to visit Bengaluru. The buffet at Déjà vu is one of the best in terms of taste and spread. One of the best parts having a 5 day week office is that if there’s a holiday on Thursday or Friday, we usually get a long weekend. Also tried their brownie with vanilla icecream and the combo was succulent.ĭéjà vu left me with many surprises and the buffet gets a simply 10/10 when it comes to the value for money. Do try the hot gulab jamun and vanilla icecream combo. The Gulab Jamun was super soft and just melted in the mouth. With puddings, cakes, cut fruits, icecreams, roshogulla and even gulab jamun. The Veg Biryani was simply delicious with authentic flavors.ĭesserts came next, the spread was again generous. The main course has a number of vegetable gravies which can be tried with assorted breads and rice items like pulao, biryani. You can choose your base sauce and vegetables to create a completely new dish. There are also few live counters like the Chaats and Chinese where the chef creates amazing dishes right in-front of you. Superb taste, as I didn’t expect it at all. Don’t forget to try their pasta as I was blow-away with its taste. The story doesn’t end here, the buffet is quite elaborate and there is plenty for you in the salads, main course and desserts. The service needs a special mention as the staff members kept on asking about the food and service. Déjà vu also has cocktails for as low as Rs.99. We also tried drinks like Good, Bar and Ugly as well as the Hawaiian Punch, Kokum Pocus. Can’t wait to go back again and try them again. The Salsa Potatoes were out of the world and I cannot recall how many time I re-ordered it. The Mushroom Grilled Bread was amazing in taste with a hint of pizza flavor. Had the Crispy Corn, Paneer Tikka, Mushroom Grilled Bread, Corn on a Cob, Grilled Fruit Chat and ofcourse my favorite Salsa Potatoes. The number of appetizers in the buffet was simply overwhelming. We tried the Carrot Dhaniya Soup, which was a clear-soup with strong taste of coriander. Both these items are served on the table and you need not run anywhere. The buffet started with the soup and appetizers. We went there to try the Dinner Buffet and we were awestruck with the food.
