If I had to pick one or the other I'd reinstall and play Crusader 2, I can think of genuine improvements in that game but I cannot think of anything Warlords does better. The second installment, Stronghold: Crusader, was released in September 2002.The gameplay is similar to the first game, but with enhanced RTS elements and with all maps and missions set entirely in the Middle East during the Middle Ages. Like, of all the things people wanted very few people wanted to turn villages into minor lords that don't really do anything other than suck up time and attention and to accomplish this FF had made the maps tiny and implemented absurdly crippling unit and building limits.
